#4 GGJ Day 3 – The Final Day!

Day 3 at the Global Game Jam 2025 – the end of an era!

The final day was here, and it was time to wrap everything up. We polished our game, added the last finishing touches, and got ready for the afternoon presentation.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Game Jam without some funny fails along the way. Take a look at this mishap while adding shaders: Failure in Shaderadding

Despite a few hiccups, some adorable assets came together - like this shark: Shark

Or this trash bag featuring a very familiar logo: Godot Trash Bag

The Final Push

As the clock ticked down, there was still some time pressure, even with our well-oiled team. But in the end, we succeeded in creating a fun and fully playable mobile game. From its charming levels to the little narrative twist, Bubble Odysea turned out to be everything we hoped for when we started this journey three days ago.

The Presentation

In the afternoon, we presented our game to the rest of the jam participants. It was amazing to share what we’d built and see the reactions from others. The combination of creative visuals, fun mechanics, and the underlying environmental message really seemed to resonate.

But what impressed me most was seeing the incredible projects from the other groups. The creativity, dedication, and technical skills on display were absolutely inspiring. From puzzle games with innovative mechanics to narrative-driven adventures and even experimental art pieces, it was clear that every team poured their hearts into their work. It’s astonishing what can be accomplished in just a single weekend.

Final Thoughts

I couldn’t be prouder of our team and what we accomplished. Sure, there were challenges along the way, but we powered through, learned a lot, and created something we’re genuinely proud of. Our mobile minigame, Bubble Odysea, is now complete, and I can’t wait for others to try it out!

This weekend wasn’t just about making a game—it was about creativity, collaboration, and community. I feel lucky to have been surrounded by so much talent and inspiration. Here’s to an unforgettable Global Game Jam 2025 experience—until next year!
